Only the High Goddess should know why anyone would ever want to venture out here, where not even the wild tribes step foot. This is the most northern are of Palandri and the one furthest away from any kind of civilization. Not even daring explorers bother going here. Perfect for hermits, supposedly, if they can stand the cold. Either way, if there are any secrets worth discovering in this part of the land, they have yet to be discovered.

The Grey Island is a holy place for Houses Volcanion and Sieron. As the location for the final battle between their two founders, Mage Volcan and Sie, as well as their ultimate grave, members of either house are the most commonly (perhaps only) encountered lifeforms on this island. The ground is covered with a thick layer of ash and the trees scarred by a long since extinguished fire. No animals live here nor does any plants grow, making it, in essence, nothing but a grey island.

Aldcastle is a fairly small island, located of the south Palandri coast. A few tiny villages exist on the Island, most of whose populations have lived here for generations in their own little independent society. They tend to be weary towards visitors and quick to send them on their way.

At first glance this peninsula is rather beautiful. It's a good observation point; standing at the edge of the cliffs one can see too Aldcastle Island and the ones surrounding it, as well as to Quakerion County and the Foggy Forest in the northwest. However, there is a grand reason no one has settled down here. Over the centuries, Shadowpine Peninsula has been used as a grave for prisoners of war, traitors, and criminals. Many a man has been thrown down to their death, and the thousands of bones layering the ocean floor beneath the cliffs are testament to that.

Blackmount Island was once host to the large free city - Dordale - as well as numerous surrounding villagers contributing to the growth of a healthy society. But that all changed with the breakout of an undead plague. Vampirism spread like wildfire over the Island, destroying everything they had worked so hard to build, until the only remaining humans had been killed, infected, or driven to the mainland. That took place roughly two hundred years ago and still to this day, even though the vampires are believed to be gone, no one has dared to return to Blackmount Island.

Newland lies just off the coast off Sieron County, less than a day's trip on a good day with a ship from Mistshore. One of the free cities are built on this island and it's a popular resort for many races due to it's peaceful and welcoming inhabitants, beautiful nature, and lack of dangerous beasts in the wilderness. A good place to settle down for those who seeks a calmer and uneventful life.
